A trio of men assaulted a man in the doorway of his home after he admitted that he knew a specific gentleman.
After knocking on a door on the 2500 block of South Seventh Street, the visitors beat a 53-year-old man, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. At 8:39 p.m. May 25, the men pushed their way inside the home after the 53-year-old replied “yes” when asked if he knew “Tony.”
The man suffered a broken jaw and was rushed to Jefferson by a medic, Tolliver said.
Police did not provide a description of the suspects.
