An offender, who was described as being 70 years old, stabbed a man in South of South Monday. 


The 36-year-old victim was bleeding from the left side of his abdomen when police arrived on the 1500 block of Catharine Street at 5:23 p.m., Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. The perpetrator — described as black, age 70, 5-foot-7 and wearing a black and white shirt — fled in an unknown direction while the victim was transported via a medic unit to Hahnemann University Hospital where he was rushed into surgery.
