A man was attacked and robbed on an East Passyunk Crossing Street Monday.
The perpetrator punched a 20-year-old, knocking him into a parked car on the 1600 block of South Eighth Street at 2:45 a.m., Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said The offender then proceeded to grab his throat and point a black handgun at his face while he scoured through his pockets, which contained a cell phone and $15. The offender and another man, who stood as the lookout, fled south on Eighth his belongings.
The victim was not injured, Tolliver said.
The gunman was described as black, with a dark complexion, age 26 to 35, 5-foot-11, 150 to 170 pounds; having a beard; and wearing a white T-shirt. A detailed description of the other man was not available at press time.
