Police have released surveillance video of a man who followed a woman from a Point Breeze seafood shop to South of South where he robbed her.
A 50-year-old woman left Hyon’s Seafood, 1320 S. 21st St., and headed north on 21st when she spotted an unknown man across the street, police said. He crossed to her side at Washington Avenue and pulled a small gun from his pocket when they reached Kimball Street. He swiped her wallet, which contained ID, a bank card and $45, and fled south on 21st.
The suspect was described as black with a dark complexion, age 30 to 40, 5-foot-8 to 6 foot, thin; having light facial hair and wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.
