A pizza delivery woman was robbed at gunpoint in Pennsport while trying to deliver an order last week.

The 21-year-old employee from Domino’s Pizza, 716 South St., arrived on the 1900 block of East Moyamensing Avenue for a delivery at 10:30 p.m. Sept. 4, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. As she was knocking on the door where the order was requested to arrive, two men, including one armed with a double-barreled shotgun, commanded the food and her money. She dropped the order and $20 on the ground. The duo gathered up the grub and cash before fleeing in an unknown direction.

The woman was not harmed, Tolliver said. A description of the perpetrators was unknown at press time.
