Three men attempted to hold up a pizza shop deliveryman in Grays Ferry Sunday night.
The employee of Domino’s Pizza knocked on the door of a home on the 1500 block of South Taney Street where an order was to be delivered at 11 p.m. when a man outside of the dwelling walked up to him and said, “Give me your money” and pulled out a black handgun, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. Two other men were standing with him. When the victim noticed a patrol car nearby, he yelled, “Police” and the offenders headed north on Taney.
Police did not have a detailed description of the suspects available at press time.
