Early-morning mugging

A man was mugged at gunpoint in West Passyunk early Tuesday.

The 24-year-old was walking eastbound along the 1900 block of Mifflin Street at 3:50 a.m. Dec. 6 when two unknown men approached him from behind, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. The man armed with a black revolver said, “give it up,” as his accomplice rummaged through the victim’s pockets taking his cell phone and wallet. The duo fled westbound on Mifflin.

The gunman was described as black, in his 20s, 5-foot-10 to 5-foot-11, thin and wearing a black hoody with the hood pulled up. The second man was described as black, 5-foot-6, to 5-foot-9, stocky and wearing a gray shirt.
