A Hawthorne doughnut shop was robbed at gunpoint.

Two men walked in Dunkin Donuts, 809 S. Broad St., at 12:16 a.m. Oct. 11, approached the counter where one of the men pointed a gun at a 59-year-old employee and demanded money, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said.

The employee handed over $400 to the duo, who fled on foot eastbound on Webster Street.

Police recovered fingerprints at the scene.

The gunman was described as black, in his 20s, 6-foot-1, 150 pounds, having a short goatee; and wearing a white or gray baseball cap, black hoody with a white graphic in the center, black track pants with two white stripes down each side and black sneakers.

His accomplice was described as black age 25 to 30, 5-foot-10, 160 pounds, having a medium-length bushy beard; and wearing a gray hoody with a large graphic on the back, blue jeans and black sneakers.
