Two men pulled off a home invasion in Dickinson Square West Friday.

At 12:20 p.m., police met with residents of a 400-block-of-Wharton-Street home and learned the female occupant had answered her doorbell and had a silver handgun pointed at her chest, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. The male dweller heard a scream and ventured downstairs, where the intruder barked “Give me your money, or I’m going to shoot you.”

As the latter occupant went to retrieve cash, another offender punched him several times in the head. The first aggressor demanded that the two inhabitants move to a first-floor bathroom to enable them to flee with approximately $6,000 cash, a Louis Vuitton bag of an undetermined value and a black safe containing roughly $7,000, Tolliver said.

The first complainant suffered no injuries, with the second refusing medical treatment for a bruise on the left side of his head and ear. They described the first man as black, 5-foot-9, in his 20s and 190 pounds; having light skin, carrying a silver handgun and wearing a black hoody over his head, a black hat and black pants. The second was white, 5-foot-6, in his 20s and 150 pounds and wearing a black hoodie, black track pants, a black cloth to cover his face and gloves.
