A gun-wielding man robbed a South of South eatery last week.
At 7:18 p.m. Oct. 16, the offender entered Omega Pizza, 2145 South St., approached an employee and pointed a small black gun at him, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. The worker placed approximately $500 into a small black bag and watched the thief flee on foot, last catching sight of him going westbound on the 2200 block of South Street.
He described the at-large figure as black and 6-foot-2; having a thin build and light eyes; wearing a black hoodie, pants and gloves and a brown face mask; and armed with a black firearm.
