Motorists must not “block the box,” especially at the sports complex where officers will increase efforts to keep intersections clear, or suffer a $126.50 fine.
Blocking the box is when a vehicle enters an intersection, but cannot proceed after the light changes. Officers, along with sports complex security, will work to ensure traffic laws are followed to ease congestion and provide a safe atmosphere for pedestrians.
