""A serial bank robber who has allegedly robbed two local banks, struck again in the Northeast last week.

The FBI and Philadelphia Police Department are still seeking help to locate Joseph DiFalco, who is believed to have robbed five banks since July 23, FBI spokesman J.J. Klaver said.

DiFalco’s latest bank robbery allegedly occurred at 9:15 a.m. Sept. 2 at a Northeast M&T Bank. He allegedly handed the teller a demand note and obtained an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing.

DiFalco has been charged for the July 23 robbery at Wachovia Bank, 2227 S. Broad St. He is also believed to be responsible for robberies at a Northeast Citizens Bank July 26, a Conestoga Bank, 2444 S. Broad St., Aug. 2, and a Northeast CitiBank Aug. 14.

DiFalco, 32, is a South Philly native. Authorities do not know his current address, but believe he has been staying in the Northeast. He is 5-foot-3, 130 pounds, with a thin beard, close-cropped hair and large tattoos on his outer forearms.

He is considered armed and dangerous.
