A South of South man was found dead in a storage area Saturday afternoon.
Police responded to investigate a home on the 700 block of South 19th Street at 4:31 p.m. when it was reported Shawn Andrews had not been seen in days, Officer Christine O’Brien of the Police Public Affairs Unit said. Inside, officers discovered the 41-year-old’s body with multiple stab wounds to his head and back in his bedroom closet. He was pronounced dead at 5:12 p.m. at the scene.
