A group of men were fired upon in West Passyunk Saturday night, but it is unclear if any of the targets were wounded.

Police responded to Woodstock and Mifflin streets at 6:26 p.m., but only located a crime scene with ballistics evidence, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said.

Witnesses reported that the shooter approached the group of about four to six men on the southwest corner of the intersection and began shooting, Tolliver said. The intended targets ran south on Woodstock as the shooter fled westbound on Mifflin and north on 21st Street.

The gunman was described as black with a medium complexion, age 20 to 21, 5-foot-8; having a medium build; and wearing a navy blue- and gray-striped Polo and gray sweatpants.
