Two bullets killed a man inside a Point Breeze convenience shop Friday.
1st District police arrived at 12:10 a.m. to 18th and Sigel streets where officers found Jesse Wise inside Holiday Café, 1822 S. 18th St., with two wounds — one to his head and another to his neck, Officer Christine O’Brien of the Police Public Affairs Unit said. The 21-year-old from the 1400 block of Wharton Street was pronounced dead 16 minutes later at the scene.
No arrests have been made and the motive remained unknown at press time.
