Police are hoping to track down the perpetrator of a Queen Village burglary.
At approximately 1:31 p.m. May 15, authorities responded to a call on the 600 block of South Sixth Street, where they met with the complainant, the owner of an under-construction property, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. He stated he left the site secure at 6 the night before and learned from workers reporting at 6 a.m. that day that someone had accessed a side alley window.
The proprietor reported copper pipes and fittings valued at $55,000 missing. As of press time, authorities had no suspects.
