A Passyunk Square deliveryman was robbed Monday but cannot recall the confrontation.
The 26-year-old was biking to a delivery for Iztaccihuatl, 1122 S. Eighth St., when a unknown man stepped in front of him on the 1400 block of South Sixth Street — just two blocks north of his destination — at 11:06 p.m., Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. The employee stopped to allow the man to pass when another unknown man punched him in the back of the head. He fell to the ground and woke up a short time later with people asking if he was OK. He then realized his iPhone and $275 were missing from his pocket.
A detailed description of the offenders was not available at press time.
