A Grays Ferry man was robbed inside his laundry business last week.

The 47-year-old was cleaning out the lint traps of the dryers at K Laundromat, 2710 Snyder Ave., when an unknown masked man put a small black semi-automatic gun to the back of his head, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. The worker took about $100 from the cashier booth and handed it over to the demanding thief, who then fled.

The perpetrator was described as black with a light complexion, age 20 to 25, 5-foot-8, 150 pounds, thin and wearing a mask, gloves and a dark-colored sweatshirt.
