Police are seeking two males for their attempted robbery of an 11-year-old in Pennsport.

At 5:15 p.m. March 2, the minor and a friend were walking home from a gym when they noticed two unknown figures following them, authorities said. The two began to run, but the strangers caught up with them on the 2000 block of South Philip Street, with one pointing a handgun at the boy and demanding money.

The duo fled on foot in an unknown direction when learning the complainant had no cash. The would-be robbery victim and his contemporary described the first individual as black, 5-foot-2, 13 years old; having a medium build; and wearing a blue hoodie with a Philadelphia 76ers logo. They tabbed the second as black, 5-foot-9, 17 years old; and wearing a dark-colored jacket.
