After exiting a West Passyunk check-cashing store, a man was held up for his money Sunday evening.

Two men interrupted a 21-year-old’s walk on the 2300 block of West Passyunk Avenue at 6 p.m. Dec. 1, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. One of them pointed a black handgun at him and demanded dough, so the man handed over $197. The pair fled eastbound on Passyunk.

The gunman was described as black with a dark complexion, 5-foot-6 and thin; having gray and black hair; and wearing a dark-colored jacket while the other offender was described as black with a light complexion, 5-foot-10 and thin; having a thin mustache; and wearing a blue jacket and blue jeans.
