A man snatched a woman’s purse as she was walking her dog last week.
While walking her canine along the 1200 block of Tasker Street at 6:50 p.m. Dec. 8, an unknown man pulled on the 40-year-old’s purse that contained her wallet, credit cards, orange Samsung cell phone and silver iPod nano, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. The two struggled until the purse strap snapped and the thief fled eastbound on Tasker.
The offender was described as Asian or Hispanic, in his 20s, thin to medium build and wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt.
