A Grays Ferry home had its front windows shot out after two men inquired who lived there early Sunday.

A 48-year-old heard a knock on his front door at 12:30 a.m. and saw two men standing in front of the house on the 2600 block of Gerritt Street, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. He cracked open the door. When one of the males asked, “yo, the white boy live here?,” he responded, “No, I don’t know what you’re talking about. You got the wrong house.”

The man went upstairs to his bedroom when he heard two shots fired outside. Upon returning downstairs, his front window was shattered.

The man he spoke with was described as black, in his mid 20s, 5-foot-7 and wearing all dark-colored clothing while his accomplice was described as Asian and in his mid 20s; having a heavy build; and wearing all dark-colored clothing.
