With the School District of Philadelphia in the midst of a budget crisis, why not help out with the click of a mouse?

Target plans to distribute $5 million to K-12 schools nationwide with its Give With Target promotion. Through Sept. 21 (or once the $5 million limit is reached), individuals may vote for their school of choice on the website, givewith.target.com. Once a given school reaches $25, it will receive $25 plus a $1 for each additional vote. Each school may receive up to $10,000, but voters are limited to one selection per week.

Every South Philly school is listed on the website, but many have not reached the 25-vote minimum to receive funds.
