Two of the three offenders sought in connection with a Queen Village robbery have been caught.

A 57-year-old male and a 33-year-old female engaged in a second round of interviews last month following their initial report of an Aug. 23 home invasion on the 900 block of South Third Street. Authorities showed the pair photo arrays, which led to the identification of 20-year-old Karonn Robinson, of the 1900 block of Catharine Street, and 26-year-old Tyrone Hopper, of the 400 block of Christian Street, as two members of the offending trio, with the third intruder’s identity unknown, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said.

Officers used pending warrants to arrest both men Sept. 3 and charged them with aggravated and simple assault, possession an instrument of crime, criminal conspiracy, burglary, recklessly endangering another person, terroristic threats, robbery, theft and firearms violations. Hopper’s bail was set at $500,000 and Robinson’s at $250,000, neither of which had been posted as of press time.

Their capture stems from their alleged participation in last month’s incident of which the complainants stated the three individuals gained access to the Queen Village location in an unknown manner and knocked on the second-floor bedroom, Tolliver said.

The at-large suspect was described as a heavyset black male and wearing a dark-colored mask that concealed the lower part of his face.
