A 19-year-old faces serious charges for allegedly robbing six locations, including a South of South business.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office in conjunction with the Eastern District of Pennsylvania announced Feb. 6 that Abdullah Sirleaf is the lone suspect in a half-dozen heists throughout Philadelphia and Lansdowne. The office contends that on June 22, Sirleaf “knowingly used and carried, and aided and abetted the use and carrying of, a firearm, that is, a black handgun” to obtain $2,400 from employees at Kerrs Building Materials Inc., 1528 Washington Ave. Its report adds that if successful prosecution occurs, Sirleaf could face a mandatory minimum term of 107 years in prison with a maximum of life. He could also face up to five years of supervised release, a possible fine, a $1,100 special assessment and restitution.
