Grays Ferry-situated gunshots left a car and a home damaged Friday.
At approximately 2:15 p.m., police responded to the intersection of Tasker and South Etting streets for a report of highway-based gunshots, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. The first complainant, who was traveling southbound in his car on South Etting Street, stated he saw a black male, perhaps 16 to 20 years old, shooting at another black male before running westbound on South Etting Street from Tasker.
She added that the gunfire damaged the front bumper and radiator of her 2006 Ford Escape. The other complainant, Tolliver said, revealed the front window of her residence, located on the 1500 block of South Etting Street, also sustained damage. Authorities reported no injuries yet have no descriptions of the participants.
