A man was held at gunpoint and robbed on the subway.

At 5 p.m. Oct. 8, a 23-year-old man boarded the last car of the northbound train at Pattison Avenue on the Broad Street Line and sat down. Before the train reached the Snyder Avenue stop, a man sat down beside him, pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at his side and commanded he give up his phone. The man complied. Then the thief searched through his pockets and took his wallet as well. The offender said, “do not get off at the next stop or I will shoot you,” and departed the train at Snyder.

The perpetrator was described as black, age 20 to 30, 6-foot-1 to 6-foot-2 and stocky; having a beard and yellow teeth; and wearing a black zipper hoody, dark blue jeans, black sneakers with white laces and a black winter knitted hat.
