A woman allegedly whacked a man over the head with a bottle in Grays Ferry when he refused to buy her a beer Friday.
Donna Seals, 61, of the 1300 block of South Dover Street, is believed to have asked a 66-year-old man to buy her a beer at 1:35 p.m. on the 2800 block of Wharton Street, but he refused. An argument ensued and she allegedly struck him with a bottle causing a laceration on his head.
A medic transported him to HUP and Seals was arrested and charged with aggravated and simple assaults, Possession of an instrument of crimes and recklessly endangering another person.
