Authorities are trying to track down a male who shot another male in Grays Ferry.
Responding to a shooting report on the 1500 block of South Bambrey Street at 10:10 p.m. July 9, police observed the injured complainant and transported him to Penn Presbyterian Hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to his left thigh, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. They learned the incident occurred on the 1500 block of South 26th Street, with an unknown figure commencing the crime.
The victim stated he realized when running that a bullet struck him. A detailed description of the suspect was not available as of press time.
