Another Bella Vista experienced a similar incident Monday.
Authorities arrived at Santucci’s Pizza, 901 S. 10th St., at 1:26 a.m. and observed the front door shattered and a black cash register resting on a pile of snow adjacent to the site, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. A walkthrough found nobody within the establishment, but video surveillance depicted a male heaving a brick through the door, then entering to grab the register. The footage could not determine his race, Tolliver said, but it did show he had a beard, wore a heavy hoodie, eyeglasses and gloves and stood between 5-foot-10 and 5-foot-11.
