A crime-filled week

The third victim slain in Grays Ferry in six days was gunned down Monday night.

Robert Morris, 23, of the 2100 block of Marston Terrace, was shot multiple times in the head and abdomen about a block from his home on the 2100 block of South Etting Street at 10:20 p.m., Officer Jill Russell of the Police Public Affairs said. He was pronounced dead 12 minutes later at the scene.

Police did not have a motive or any suspects as of press time.
