Two at-large individuals took their desire to steal mountain bikes from the street to a home in Point Breeze.

At approximately 3:18 a.m. Saturday, police responded to a call of a person breaking into a residence on the 2200 block of Sears Street and learned from the two complainants that they had been riding their bikes home when the unknown black males commenced demanding their possessions, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. The aggressors broke their door frame and front window and gained entry into the dwelling after 15 minutes of resistance from the occupants. Having surrendered their rides, valued at approximately $300, the victims said the thieves fled the area in an unknown direction.

They described the first offender as being 20 to 25 years old and 5-foot-11 to 6-foot-1; having a light brown complexion and dreadlocks; and wearing an orange shirt and blue jeans; and the other as 20 to 25 years old and 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-9; having a dark complexion and short hair; and wearing a white shirt and dark shorts.
