A man tapped his target on the shoulder and mugged him at gunpoint in South of South Sunday.

The 25-year-old was at 20th and Carpenter streets when an unknown man obtained his attention by touching his shoulder, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. When he turned around, the man armed with a black handgun demanded his belongings, which included a brown leather saddlebag, black iPhone 4, ID and credit cards. After taking the items, the bandit ordered the victim to run west on Carpenter as he escaped in an unknown direction.

The robber was described as black with a dark complexion, age 28 to 30, 5-foot-10, 210 pounds, unshaven and wearing a black hoodie and light blue jeans.
