A budget casualty, the Samuel S. Fels South Philadelphia Community Center, 2407 S. Broad St., will soon close its doors, with these men taking items to the new 15th-and-Porter-streets location Tuesday. Through the Caring People Alliance, the Philadelphia Performing Arts Charter School, 2600 S. Broad St., purchased the haven for children and seniors, who might be able to attend the unnamed replacement by mid-July.
