Greedy fingers

A Point Breeze robbery left a woman long on pain and short on possessions.

When the 28-year-old was walking northbound on the 1300 block of South 20th Street at 10:12 p.m. April 19, she noticed three females exiting a silver, late-1980s to early-’90s Honda Civic, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. After trailing her for two blocks, they confronted her, first pushing her against a wall, then shoving her to the ground.

After absorbing several punches to her face and body, she had her blue shoulder bag confiscated, Tolliver said. The object contained identification, credit cards, a wallet, SEPTA tokens, house keys and an iPhone. She observed her attackers return to the automobile and flee northbound on 20th Street. She sustained injuries, including scratches on her right forearm, yet did not seek treatment.

The first attacker was described as black, age 18, 5-foot-9, 150 pounds, with a medium build and straight black hair and wearing a long-sleeve hooded shirt and blue jeans while the second was described as black with a dark complexion, 5-foot-5, 165 pounds, with straight black hair and wearing a red shirt and light-colored jeans. The third was described as black with a dark complexion and wearing a light-colored, possibly tan, shirt. The vehicle’s driver was described as a 20-year-old white female with brown hair.
