One week every year the whimsical words of Dr. Seuss flow from mouth to ear. On March 2, the date of his birth, the young students of Stephen Girard School, 1800 Snyder Ave., wearing colorful hats inspired by a famous cat, enjoyed an upbeat mood. The celebration was part of Read Across America Day, an annual initiative to promote reading, motivation and awareness.
