Police are seeking the man that swiped cash from a Lower Moyamensing corner store last week.

The offender entered Los Charales Inc., 2100 S. Ninth St., at 6:55 p.m. and told the 32-year-old cashier, “Give me all the money. I have a gun,” Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. Although he did not show the gun, he kept one of his hands in his pocket.
The store employee opened the cash register and the perpetrator reached over and snatched about $1,000 before exiting the shop and heading east on Snyder Avenue, Tolliver said. The employee trailed him, but lost him on the 800 block of Snyder Avenue.
Police recovered surveillance video from the store.
The offender was described as black with a dark complexion, age 35, 6 foot to 6-foot-1; having a long, black beard; and wearing a black leather jacket, navy blue hoody with white strings and blue jeans.
