Two adolescents assaulted a 12-year-old cyclist in Girard Estate.
At 8:50 p.m. Oct. 31, the complainant was riding on the 2500 block of South 24th Street when he saw a group of teens, riding away from them shortly afterward, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. One pushed him from his bicycle, leading him to strike his head on the ground.
He tried to retrieve his ride, but another offender took a baseball bat to his left knee. They fled the location on his possession, heading through the Quartermaster Plaza shopping area. The victim described them as black, with tall, thin builds, and wearing all black clothing and black masks.
