Capping the matter

The Philadelphia Police Department announced the arrest of a third suspect wanted in connection with a Grays Ferry shooting.

In a Feb. 25 item titled “Shooters’ images released,” the South Philly Review explained that authorities arrested Kierston Carroll, a 19-year-old resident of the 1600 block of South Marston Street, and Syheed Wilson, a 19-year-old inhabitant of the same block, Feb. 23 for their supposed involvement in a Feb. 6 incident in which two males and one female united to rob a cab driver, with the males reportedly firing weapons at him on the 2800 block of Tasker Street. On Monday, law enforcement officials released arrest photos for all three suspects following Saturday’s detainment of 19-year-old Michael Jones at a Northeast Philly address.

They charged Jones with aggravated and simple assault, robbery, conspiracy, firearms violations, possession of an instrument of crime, making terroristic threats, and recklessly endangering another person. He had not posted his $750,000 bail as of press time and awaits a March 15 preliminary hearing. Carroll, who awaits a March 10 preliminary hearing, received similar charges and had not posted her $150,000 bail as of press time. The same charges appear on the docket for Wilson, who will share a preliminary hearing date with Carroll. He had not posted his $350,000 bail as of press time.
