Police are looking for the figure who burglarized a Whitman eatery.
Responding to a report of a burglary at Burger King, 2728 S. Front St., at 11:52 a.m. June 8, authorities met with the store’s assistant manager, learning he had entered the location to open for business and noticed $2,500 missing from a safe, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. They further determined that video surveillance depicted the criminal entering the establishment with a key via a side door at approximately 12:30 that morning. The offender, depicted as a stocky male wearing a dark-colored hoodie that covered his face and gray pants, opened the safe, removed money from it and exited through the same entrance.
