A daring male robbed a Point Breeze phone provider of $1,500 Monday.
Police reported to Metro PCS, 1414 Point Breeze Ave., at 5:28 p.m., meeting with two store employees, learning from them that minutes earlier, an unknown figure came in with a gun and demanded cash, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. Using the black plastic bag that he produced, one worker placed the cash inside, with the gun wielder exiting and walking southbound on Point Breeze Avenue.
The employees described the offender as black, in his mid 20s and 6-foot-1 to 6-foot-2; having big shoulders; wearing sunglasses, a white hoodie, gray sweatpants and white loafer style shoes; and carrying an unspecified gun.
