Authorities are looking for help in solving the Jan. 22 shooting death of a Grays Ferry resident.
At 4:23 p.m., officers responded to a person with a gun report of a shooting on Broad and Ritner streets, Officer Tanya Little of Police Public Affairs said. Observing a male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the torso, they had him transported to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where personnel pronounced him dead at 5:37 p.m. Authorities identified the deceased as 38-year-old Michael Walsh, of the 1500 block of South Bambrey Street, and are offering a $20,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the Grays Ferry figure’s death.
