Acceptance of speech: Enthused youths and their caregivers gathered recently at the Baby Worldplay Little Theater, 2227 Grays Ferry Ave., for a session with owner Pam Groves. The South-of-South-situated space operates with the premise that a young child should hear at least 30,000 words per day to develop strong language and reading skills. Through Storyplays, the Jamaica-bred proprietor helps to mold children into viable verbalists.
