Cookie Bocchino is once again ready to deliver holiday cheer to area children as part of the South Philly Review’s annual Toy Drive. The donations, which are being accepted at the office, 12th and Porter streets, through tomorrow, will be passed along to My Sister’s Place at Thomas Jefferson Pediatric Hospital, Camden, N.J.’s Rescue Mission and United Communities of Southeast Philadelphia. With that gentleman from the North Pole extremely busy checking his lists, the community effort will likely allow those helpers to squeeze in a few hours of sleep prior to packing up the sleigh.
