On Friday, the Philadelphia Police Department released an image of a man wanted for perpetrating an attempted robbery in Marconi East last month.
At 9 a.m. Sept. 15, the complainant had an unknown male approach him from behind on the 2800 block of South Darien Street, police said. The stranger punched the figure on the left side of his face and attempted to take his bag.
The victim engaged in a struggle over the item, with neighbors soon witnessing the matter, leading the would-be thief to take off without anything.
