A man sought treatment for a wound to his derriere Sunday.
Walking along the 1900 block of Fernon Street at 10:30 p.m., the victim heard two gunshots behind him, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said and ran after realizing one shot had struck him in the left buttock. While escaping, he heard three more blasts from behind before stopping on 19th Street before Fernon and Mountain streets to flag down an unknown resident, who transported him to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He could provide no description of the shooter(s).
