Six months after releasing surveillance video, authorities detained 28-year-old Clifton Morris, of the 2600 block of Emily Street, Monday. They have charged the West Passyunk dweller with attempted murder, aggravated assault and related offenses for his supposed shooting of two men last summer.
At 1:20 a.m. Sept. 9, the complainants started walking to their vehicle after leaving a Manayunk bar when multiple shots hit them, police said, with the weapon wielder fleeing on foot. Tips poured in the next day, and law enforcement figures tabbed Morris as the suspect, arresting him without incident half a year later.
