Police are hoping that video footage can lead them to two men sought in a thwarted robbery attempt in South of South last month.
Authorities met with a 26-year-old woman on the 800 block of South 19th Street Feb. 20, learning that at 8:30 p.m., two unknown males had approached her from behind and grabbed her purse. The complainant fought back and successfully kept them from taking her bag, though she did sustain minor injuries.
The empty-handed suspects fled the area, with the woman last catching them heading west on Montrose Street.
