Police have apprehended a Dickinson Square West man who allegedly burglarized a Pennsport dentist’s office last month.
Jamie Rodriguez, 24, of the 1700 block of South Fifth Street, was arrested Aug. 23 for allegedly burglarizing Dentex Dental Group, 1701 E. Moyamensing Ave., at 3 a.m. five days prior (“Clean sweep,” Aug. 22), according to police and court records.
Rodriquez is believed to have spent two hours roaming the business, taking checks, computers, a credit card reader and mail before fleeing in an unknown direction, police said.
He was charged with burglary, trespassing, theft, receiving stolen property, possession of an instrument of crime and criminal mischief. His bail, which he posted a percentage of Aug. 30, was set at $5,000.
