A woman was mugged her of her purse, containing cash and a loaded gun Saturday.
The thief approached the 27-year-old woman on the 2700 block of Mifflin Street at 1:30 a.m. and asked for $1, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. After she handed over the bill, he responded, “Thank you” before taking her purse and fleeing westbound on Mifflin Street. Her bag contained $100 and a loaded firearm.
The mugger was described as black with a dark complexion, age 35 to 40, 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10, 160 pounds and wearing a dark-colored hoodie and sweat pants.
